Season 13 Finale - Spoilers

Well, I'll admit I haven't watched it yet, but thanks to the full blown of the Internet I know what happened with Dean and I feel like it was too obvious he was going to yes to Michael. The whole "suit" photos totally threw me off and I thought they were going down a different route.
Still, will watch it tonight, but I'm just wondering why Dean didn't tell Michael to "get out" as we've learn in the past...that's what you do. Guess Dean believed too much in the deal...

Next season is going to be interesting. I wonder if Dean will be "trapped" for the entire season.

I hope he won't be trapped for too long.
Not looking forward to an evil Dean hot as he looks in a suit.

I am gonna be optimistic and think Jensen will blow me away. I know he will do a great job. There were aspects I loved about the finale MAN that church, was it man made like the S8 finale church was it was beautiful. I won't spoil it for you Sammi but you are in for a treat. Watch out for the fight scenes they are epic! Crab the tissues ....

reply

I'm afraid to watch it lol
I don't want to have any tissues....

I finally watched it last night. I like the fact that they went back to hunting and I think that was the first time Dean had a "heart to heart" talk with Jack about nightmares.
I thought it was so cheesy for AU Bobby to bring up how Ketch is out doing ketchup things and Charlie/Rowena are on some road trip....what? I'd rather hear more about rain if they needed to add in a few more lines. Not showing them was pretty obvious enough they weren't around. How is AU community "all settled in"? Did they get homes and jobs already? It seems like its been weeks, but some still got a history lesson in the beginning of the episode, so I guess it's not really that important, but the 5% information they give us is almost pointless, so why do it...
The finales aren't what they used to be - we used to get non stop crazy. I didn't hate any of it, I was just expecting more.
I think we all knew Lucifer was in it for himself, but he never "admits" to only wanting Jack's grace to give him that power boost.
Of course the MAIN reason Dean says "yes" to Michael is to save Sammy. In a recap it said it was to save Jack/Mary, I guess they didn't watch the episode. I like that Dean got full control, but it was just reckless, because you know Michael was/is going to screw him over in the end.
The fight scene was good, but that jump in the air was weird and fight floating, I preferred they stay on the ground. But I just kept thinking - Jack needs a doctor. I doubt they will kill off Jack during the break, but you never know. I know nothing about his contract, other than it's been extended...
Jensen played Michael for less than 10 seconds, "thanks for the suit" it was kinda creepy how he just looked off and didn't make eye contact with Sam/Jack.
At the end, when his eyes glowed blue, I - it reminded me so much of Michael Jackson's Thriller video
I'm surprised they finally offed Lucifer, I mean sure now they have Michael, but I wonder how long he'll be sticking around now as their priority.

The fight was so lame. I understand the show has never had the best budget. but they could have at least had more than a fist fight between Dean and Lucifer. How about Lucifer actually collapses the church on top of them or they both use psycho-kineses to smash each other around. Nah, just throw a few punches, forget that these are the most powerful supernatural beings fighting, there can be no damage despite in season 5 saying the fight between Michael and Lucifer would literally end the world.

reply

Agreed. The 'fight' was embarrassing. Too much weak wirework.
