What could it be?
Shame Sammi you haven't got a link. Haven't a clue. Perhaps something has happened to Sam in the finale? Or that Jensen is playing another character maybe this has tied over into S14??

shareI keep thinking they're finally going to let Dean say yes to Michael. And it will be the Michael from the AU. That one dresses in dark clothes and this picture shows Dean in dark clothes.
It may be something that happens to Mary. At the beginning of the season Dean told himself that Mary was dead and now he's found out she's alive. He's frantic to save her. But something happens and he can't. So he finally snaps.
I'm just guessing. And I've said previously my guesses usually are way off the mark. But I have fun thinking of possibilities.
In the finale it did list that Jensen is going to be portraying another. It would have to be something important like you said Mary for Dean to say yes to Michael.

One recent clue, Billie saying will see you soon. I'm not sure who she was really talking to but we were made to think it was directed to Rowena. But with the twitter clue that Jensen did kind of makes me think Billie was talking to him. So possibly a Reaper. With the exception of Tess and Jessica the reapers were men who were dressed in black suits.
Again my warped sense of guessing.

Its okay, I've just seen that article on SPNhunters.com too. I love that site as they really have up to date information on what is coming up, and what has happened in the past.
For some reason I keep looking at his smart suit. I keep thinking about Elliot Ness in As time goes by I think? How he loved that era and working along side Eliot. I thought that actor was superb and would love the chance to see him on screen again too. He had such a on screen presence.
I am surprised that hints have been released for S14 so very soon after they've just finished filming. But it will keep us guessing over the summer.

Dean becomes Death, Dean becomes a Reaper, Dean says yes to Michael, or going back in time?
It could be Dean becomes a reaper after what Billie said to him, 'See you later Dean'. As we know how this show loves to tease us. I wonder if Billie dies he ends her and becomes the next reaper. As he did say he would be playing another character who isn't DEAN! I can't wait for this to happen now. Since he killed Death, the original it seems to flow with the natural order of this, you kill a reaper, you become one!?!?!?!
I don't buy into Dean becoming Michael, as for me that ship has sailed, and Michael is already dead killed by Jack. So unless they miraculously bring him back in time for the finale, I don't see it personally.
I can see him going back in time, because they've done it before, and he's wearing similar clothes. Very tidy, neat smart suit and a hat. What's not to love about seeing Dean wear that again???!?!?!?

I can see all happening (maybe not all at once of course), but the Michael one, I don't think so.
But the first time I saw that picture, I thought REAPER, but ...do you have to die/be dead to become one? I really need to watch every episode again!!
I also saw "behind the scene" pictures on the fandom wiki site, and - I'm pretty sure it's Dean dressed in suit/hat and I just wondered if that's the last scene.

Well I don't think I ever recall Dean wearing a cap with a smart suit? They have normally been bowler hats so that is something to ponder over?
But you are correct in thinking you have to kill a reaper to become one. I am loving the sounds of this because that would answer Dean becoming another character. In those two pictures Sam is no where to be seen, so are the boys separated again? Which often happens. Is this gonna be like Demon Dean again in the finale where Dean changes into something we don't know yet? It will be interesting to find out whom he might be turning into? Since he killed Death and a new Death Billie appeared it would seem a logical move/step? I think if that is the last scene of the finale, doesn't appear to be that dramatic, and we know how this show loves to end the finale for the summer, not convinced yet? Maybe a lead up to it a flash back or something?
The one thing though that's been itching away at me is he's "playing another character" does that mean specifically someone else, or is it just adding to Dean Winchester? By that I mean, is Dean Winchester getting another title, "Reaper" or "Death" or is there someone taking his appearance?? Or is it some weird memory wipe situation - like he's not Dean, he's so and so now?
I think Sam and Dean will be separated by the time the finale is over...especially if our Dean has a new role/persona.
Jensen has 'specifically stated' that he is 'playing someone else' as Sam has played a number of different characters over the years and now its his chance.

Sammi I just found this sneak peak and Jensen sort of lets slip a bit. Robert Singer calls him big mouth which seems to have annoyed him he let slip too much. Jared almost dropped a clanger and looked to the left for permission to say something but didn't. Looks like end of season cliff hanger will be dramatic!!

It was a Gabriel episode - we learn what happened to him and what he's up to; also some AU update. I didn't love it, nor hate it.

I did begin to make me thing that rouge Michael going into our world would be a too obvious thought that Dean would battle him and say yes. But Dean wearing that suit just doesn't match Michael's dress sense as he is a very casual dresser. Fake Gabe wore a really smart suit before Gabe killed him, but wasn't that type of suit that Dean was wearing. I think he's going back to the 20's again as it seems that type of clothing.
It did cross my mind it might be John Winchester since young John was shown in a couple of pictures Matt Cohen's version. But what reason has he got to be back? This is gonna annoy me like crazy now for the next three weeks, wondering!
