I'm wondering if Rowena will save them as she has the power to do it. I know now its not the Trickster so that has put paid to that obvious theory. But a guess to who put them their, I am thinking Asmo. He wants them out of the way to get to Jack. Jack could also save the boys, if he gets out of the AU? We have a two week break so we have a while to think about it!
Hm, If Rowena's appearance is under the radar, I don't know. I also don't think Jack is appearing in that episode. It seems very "monster of the week" so I'm sure they will get out and may be a random of how they get inside, but who knows. Asmo. could've set it up, like you said to (attempt) get the boys out of the way.
