I hope it is at least funny...

What the Hell is Dabb talking about ‘when Daphne wasn’t bad’? I don’t remember Daphne ever being bad. Did I miss something while growing older gracefully? ;). Tho honestly Dabb makes about half as much sense in interviews as did his predecessor...

If you've watched any of the more recent Scooby Doo, you might get what he's talking about. The kids are in some sort of alternate reality. It's listed as Scooby-Doo! Mystery Ink. It's not that Daphne is "bad" per say, more like she's not how most of us would remember her when she was growing up.

I thought where he’s saying, ‘when Daphne wasn’t bad’ means to imply that she is an attractive cartoon character for the time period but it’s lost in the translation.

As in, you refer to something that happened to you and you say ‘well, it wasn’t soooooo bad’ and maybe give a nod or a wink or a knowing look.

Dean wearing Fred’s scarf when he returns. ;). Wonder if Daphne gifted it to him as a rememberance. Ohhh now I’m having thinky thoughts about two cartoon characters having sex. I think I’ve crossed a line... ;)

I never watched the Scooby cartoons and evidently neither has Dabb. I do hope it is funny. The writers are not from SPN so fingers crossed.

The writers aren’t our supernatural writers? How in the Hell is that going to work. More to the point - why didn’t our writers pen the episode? I’m not feeling this...

reply

Well that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Singer already said before S12 they wouldn't be trying any meta episodes because he didn't think they could knock it out of the park. Meaning they just don't have a writer that can pull that kind of episode off. These are WB writers, hopefully at least familiar with SPN.....so fingers crossed.
