Hey, so I started an elimination game for the episodes. I already know what my favorite episode is, so I was hoping to maybe get an idea of what a lot of people's favorite episode is. If you're not playing, is there anything I can do to make it better? I was thinking of starting a new thread up after one episode from each of the categories is eliminated. I think it will help tidy the game up a little. Any other ideas?

Ha! I'm not saying which one is my favorite. It'll probably become clear soon, but I don't want anyone voting it down, so something, like Crossroad Blues wins. :)
It's just a normal elimination game, but you can vote up or down in each category instead of one, but because Moviechat lowered the character count that we can post, I couldn't get all the episodes on one post, and I know people couldn't have copied it and pasted it if I'd gone much more than 4 categories, so it's a little jumbled.
The rules are that you can vote one season premiere up and one down, one episode 2 up and once episode 2 down, one episode 3 up and one episode 3 down, and so on and so forth through the episode 23 category. I think I should've put the episodes 1-4 in their own reply to the rules at the top, but I didn't have a chance to fix it before people started voting, so voting for episodes 1-4 starts about halfway down the page (that's why I want to start a new thread once an episode from each category is eliminated), but other than that, voting for the episodes in the categories starts under each of the bold sections. So, if all you want to do is vote on Crossroad Blues, go to the category for episode 8 and vote it up and vote down another episode 8 at the same time. I'm cool with that a long as we start eliminating some episodes soon. :)

shareI haven't made a big long post before, but it looks like you can only have a certain amount of characters/words. It seems a little too packed. Maybe go by seasons, or just premieres? Like separate posts.
I think an elimination game is a good idea, especially since there's no new episodes to watch and without obsessing over our theories for the next 3-4 months before season 13...it can help our "fix" during the break.
I tried getting into those types of games on the old boards. So if you guys do start one let me know.

shareA category is the episode number that each of those episodes was aired. 1 (+) vote and 1 (-) vote for every category every 12 hours. You don't have to vote in all 23 categories, but we're narrowing down the episodes until we get one in each category. When we have our top 23 picks, we'll pit them against one another in the second round.
