Anyone out here, Convince me to Carry on and see Supernatural further, or to just leave it as it is.
I haven't SPN after season 10 finale...
and i have been having a feeling the universe wants me to catch up again...
Suddenly heard "carry on.." song out of nowhere and getting subtle hints here n there...lol
so Should i continue or not..
Help me.!!!!
Season 11 was very decent, even though I think the finale was *beep* Season 12 so far has been really strong and set quite an unique tone that we haven't yet seen.
I was mad that they continued after season 10....which they had announced will be the last at the time.....
so spent my time watching other shows.
They never said 10 was the last! 11 was great of you want to continue.
shareJo-mw08, originally, Eric Kripke(the creator of Supernatural) planned for three seasons, but later expanded it to five. Kripke left the show as "showrunner" after the fifth season.
I guess Kripke had been working on the idea of Supernatural for something like 10 years, and when he originally pitched the show to The WB, the "boys" were tabloid reporters driving around in a van fighting demons, but the network hated the "tabloid reporters" idea, so Kripke changed them to brothers.
Sooo.... the first five season are definitely the most interesting, but I just can't stop watching. I watch the older seasons on TNT. They show four episodes, starting at 10am, ending at 2pm, every weekday. I don't watch it on CW, because they started season 12 on the 13th of October, and I've only seen up to season 10. (TNT is up to season 6, episode 5)
I haven't seen all of season 10 yet, and I've not seen any of seasons 11 & 12.
I got to add, my favorite character's are Kevin, Crowley, and Bobby. My least favorite has to be Becky, she's such a ding-bat! 😀

I don't think anyone else can convince you to see Supernatural further. You need to decide what you like about it and then decide for yourself. Speaking for myself I watch it for Jensen Ackles & Dean Winchester (in that order) so no matter what they do with the show, as long as Jensen is in it, I will watch.
You need to decide if you like it or not! It is definitely better than a lot of other shows in my opinion.
I kept continuing after season 8 and onwards because of Jensen only.....

The last episode was horseshet, boring as hell and what's with we need to kill Lucifer aka The Devil? He stopped being the Devil, the moment he made up with his God Daddy. They should let him be. He no longer has to be locked up in Hell. Heaven is where he belongs ruling those virgin female angels. The Winchester Mom needs to go, send that bitch back to the grave, she has no place on this show.

Just my opinion, the Only reason to Carry On is Jensen. He's the best, a superb actor and easy to look at. :)
At the end of last season I wondered who or what the boys would have to fight this season. After all, I think God's sister is a hard thing to follow. I do wish they had been able to come up with an adversary that was Supernatural, not the sodding Brits. Too lame. They're taking the supernatural out of Supernatural. I truly can't see where it can go from here but I hope they find a way to keep it going just so we can watch Jensen do what he does best, Act. I think he's an excellent actor and he's never disappointed so as long as he keeps acting in this show, I'll be watching.
Just my opinion. :)
They could cut half the episodes out really. But what else are you going to do? It's something to pass the time.
