They killed the Alpha VAMP!!!

NOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Just NO SHOW!
I am gutted they just bought Ricky Worthy back just to kill him off.
But, was I surprised by this is this the norm now?
I am so angry as he was such a strong character when he first showed up in S7 those long, long vamp nails. He oozed monster appeal and I can never take my eyes off him.
Also another kill for Sam!

I envisioned that storyline going a completely different direction. Such a cool character. RIP Alpha Vamp

Agreed! My interest waned after sensing they only brought the Alpha Vamp back to kill him!! Stupid move if you ask me!

reply

They brought him back so he could stand there and get shot. As underwhelming as the rest of the episode.

I absolutely agree with you, he was IMO one of the best baddies of the series and at the end of the episode where he gives some of his blood to Sam and Dean where he seems to hint that they will see him again I was yesssssssssssss that will be so cool but this was so not cool. I could buy them killing him sort of but it should have been much more dramatic, he was supposed to be an extremely powerful being for goodness sake - oh well just have to try and bury in my memory somewhere and try and forget about it.

I can see it now -

Alpha Vamp says "See you next season..."

Each season Rick Worthy bursts onto the set "I'm back bitches! Told you I'd see you-" only to find everything's closed for the day and everyone has gone home...

Finally. Finally his characters back! Ricks all excited thinking this will be his chance to show the depth of his character. Anddddd ACTION!"

On another site where I hang one of the posters said that apparently five years = one year in the vamp world. Sorta like dog years. ;)

I am so thrilled everyone agrees with me. I found him so engaging, and he was one of the few actors who continued to write back to me personally on Twitter. He is such a gentleman among gents! He was so graceful and charming, and I was angry in the light of things that he never made ANY attempts to save his own hide. Did he want to die? Did he want out of this world? Did he orchestrate his own death and go into that building knowing fine well he would die? I would hate this if this were the case?

"They brought him back so he could stand there and get shot!"
As Virile said above he stood there so he could just get SHOT! Doesn't make ANY sense. No retaliation, NO demonstration on how good his fighting skills are to protect himself. It was just like he was giving up its the only reasoning I have presently....

Lol, love your whole post, Aly.

I was hoping they wouldn't kill him. They don't need or have to kill everyone. Seriously.

reply

It was so quick and underwhelming too. He deserved a more epic death.

I agree with both of you, on both counts. I hoped they wouldn't kill him off, and do they NEED to kill every character can't they just ride off into the sunset and be left in peace. His DEATH was very underwhelming Vee, he did deserve better that what he was dealt. He was a huge character, with depth and knew how to act too. It's like the writers get a kick out of killing off the much-loved characters. He's without a doubt in my top 10 favorites. This morning I was remembering Gadreel and how they had to execute him too. I so miss Tamho.

Well Sam and the Alpha seem to be ok with it....
