I know there are other threads about the dvds, but no one has posted on them in so long, and I guess I am crazy and hope that if I start a new thread there will magically be info to post on it.
So... any news about the dvds?

Fred Goss wrote on his MySpace blog that there will be no DVD release due to music copyright issues - apparently, the deal they signed only allowed for those songs to be played on their original television airings - they'd need to 'rework the deal' for a DVD release, not likely to happen for a show that only aired for 5 weeks.
Why am I not surprised... (sigh)

Ok, I may be way off here but....couldn't they just not include the music in the show? I mean I know it would be weird. But the reason we want the dvds is because we like the substance of the show, not the random music they put in. Anyone agree?
shareI agree 110%. And other fans have said the same - in fact, other fans even offered to help pay for the cost of licensing the music in Goss' MySpace blog. But I'm getting the feeling Fred would rather leave this all behind, but I hope I'm wrong.
And to think I had most of these taped (AND TAPED IN HD, TOO!) and recorded over the episodes because I figured I'd just pick up the DVDs when they came out.
DAMNIT.
