This show is WAY funnier than New Adventures...and Courting Alex!!

This show is really funny, and if CBS really wanted the ratings for this show, they would've *beep* not moved it to Wednesdays- that killed it! Then they replace Mondays at 930 will *beep* like The New Adventures of Old Christine which is the same *beep* we've all seen a hundred times!! At least this show was fresh, and had a real purpose, but I am thrilled they had ebough sense to get rid of Courting *beep* Alex, which was the biggest piece of *beep* I've ever seen!

I just hope CBS save this show, and move that stupid "Christine" show, that's not funny, OoP is.

Are they still showing it at all? I thought is was on hiatus to return in March, which I believe it did, then I thought it was supposed to air Wednesdays at 8, but I never saw it.

they showed it the last two weeks of march then put it back on "hiatus" supposedly coming back at a later date

It's not coming back, even though they said it would be at some point.

What really annoys me is that Old Christine is not as funny and has the same ratings in the same timeslot. OoP was there first and held its ratings throughout the run, now some other crappy show is taking over for no reason AT ALL.

I seriously hope Old Christine is cancelled within a few weeks, but that Two and a Half Men / Random Sitcom / CSI Miami sandwich is working out for CBS at the moment.

I've made up my mind....if they don't bring OoP back this fall....I'm not even watching CBS anymore. I can't believe they would dump a show as good as that one is. Somebody at CBS needs to be fired if they no longer know a good show when they see one. There's absolutely nothing on CBS that I can't live without, so if they don't bring back my favorite show, I have no reason to tune in to watch anything they have to offer.

I just came on to this board to see what the heck is going on with this show....this show is the funniest new one to come along in a long while....I am really disappointed that it is cancelled....I really enjoyed this show.

Keep writing, calling and faxing. I still don't like Les Moonves. Anyone find it funny that CBS brought back "Big Brother", which is hosted by Leslie's wife, but can't run the final episodes of "Out Of Practice"? Anyone else think that's funny?
... I didn't think it was funny either.

You are so right. I was actually looking forward to "Courting Alex" because I like Jenna Elfman. Man, what a let down. By the same token, I can't stand JLD, so I KNEW "Old Christine" would be awful.

I was disappointed on both counts. I really loved Jenna Elfman on "Dharma & Greg," and Julia Louis Dreyfus on "Seinfeld." "Courting Alex" didn't even look good, and I never really saw commercials for "TNAOOC," but both were huge let-downs, regardless of expectations or lack thereof.

Old Christine is a HORRIBLE show, and it got worse ratings than Out of Practice, yet Old Christine is back and Out of Practice is gone. I could do the job better in my sleep.
