Netflix hopefully means a new audience

I'd never heard of the show and never saw it when it aired 6 years ago.
I just found it on Netflix and now I'm kicking myself that I missed it when it was on.
The show was/still is hysterical. Sharp, witty, clever writing and spot-on performances by most of the cast (Winkler is sometimes a bit weak in his performance).

It was such a great show. Sad that something like this with clever, great writing doesn't make it --- and Rules of E, New Adv of Christine, Worst Week, and other shows were/are given more and more chances or initial chances instead of an OOP renewal, when they don't stack up to this kind of quality.
Great cast too. Correct about Winkler but there are so many fans of his that could support this that it makes up for it.
If CBS didn't put this on hiatus after Jan 2006 and change nights on it (last two eps aired late March, 2006), things could have been different.

Ty Burrell now doing well on Modern Family, with one of Out of Practice's co-creators, so that at least worked out for them.

But CBS has made some real bonehead decisions with some of the sitcoms that's for sure.

You can see it on amazon instant video, too. Free for amazon prime members. Buy the season or episodes, too.

That's where I saw it. I too thought it was very funny.

Well, I like Rules of engagment. They have some very funny episodes and I consider it to have the same quality as Out of Practice.

One show that comes to my mind is 2 Broke girls. I can't believe that show had five seasons, while Out of Practice got only one. They are uncomparable. All that 2 Broke girls has is two hot looking girls really. When talking about humor, there is none.

I just disovered it too (on Amazon) and am really enjoying it. Especially great to see the three old pros again! The cancellation is a good example of why the networks are losing viewers.
