What a great show!
Listen, I know right now I'm going to have people skew me for this; But I just finished what I view as maybe one of my top 5 favorite television shows (Twin Peaks, X-Files and Dexter being my top 3 ;)) that I've stuck to beginning to end, did not stop an episode I was so engrossed.
Sure, logic fell through the flooring on more than one occasion and some of the writing definitely needed some work, but in these flaws I only found more to love. It's like an "off-screen kill", leaving so much to our imagination and crating our own stories to answers no one but the writers/director know.
Personally, the thing's that bugged me the most are those damn wrist markings and the "ghost bikers". I was dying for an explanation and received none, but hey, I'll take what I can get seeing as how I'm just now catching this great show 5 years later.
Loved to see the Michael O'Keefe (Caddyshack) and Tony Todd (Candyman, Night of the Living Dead) cameos also.. For the horror buffs, we were given nod after nod to our genre and I really, really enjoyed that.
Before I end this, I'm also now reminded of the final episode where Paul demanded his "answers, answers, answers" and I have a feeling this was some sort of nudge toward us viewers that "yes, this show will be cancelled prematurely and you're going to want..[answers, answers, answers]".
So that's all, I plan on acquiring this series on DVD I enjoyed it so much and though I know it's highly unlikely I would love to see some sort of.. webisode or comic or anything to take us further into this universe.
