another 'Cold Case'

This TV show is a rip-off of the "hit" show Cold Case which has a similar theme. Investigators take up old cases and find new clues/evidence to prove that the person indicted is actually not guilty. I wish all these "whodunit" TV shows including CSIs, Criminal Mind, Closer To Home would actually show some good detective work. It seems like the cops are idiots and the special investigation teams do all the work.

Anyways, does anybody know the name of the Mexican girl who played "sonja" in the episode "Golden Boy" (she is the sister trying to rescure her brother). She is really hot and a darn good actress!

Peace

ok, I know it's more then two years after the fact, but "Cold Case" is very different from "In Justice".

In Justice is all about trying to overturn wrongful convictions (and sometimes they aren't wrongful), whereas Cold Case is all about Unsolved Cases, although sometimes one or two episodes will deal with someone Wrongfully Convicted, like "Frank's Best" in Season Three.

I HATE Cold Case.
That show makes no sense 99% of the time.
Most of the time they don't find any new clues. All they do is find something that might have belonged to a deceased or someone just came over to them and asked for an update on their progress with the case, after which they'll pick it up and do what the original investigation teams could have done. The stories were weak, the characters were lame, and the main characters of the show are absolutely inhuman with no real emotion. The blond chick will appear angry for the most part during investigations, playing the bad cop but in an over-presumptuous manner. The fat guy will always come up with the cheesiest one-liners. The boss will always be serious and never looks like more than a robot.

With In Justice it's completely different. The characters are deep, genuinely interesting and funny and they feel somewhere between real and funnily surreal. The actual storyline makes way more sense and the way they catch the real bad guys or just free the good guys always makes sense retroactively. That is it makes sense that they got in trouble in the first place, and real new clues were found and brought up to release them.

If you really are into cold cases that are being revived In Justice is great, and there's also the Canadian show Cold Squad. That show was amazing. Way better than Cold Squad.
