I don't get it at all. Everybody raves about this show and it sucks bigtime! Ted is not an attractive guy, not ugly either but for some reason seems like a complete douche. Then we've got Neil Patrick Harris as a womanizer. He doesn't have the womanizing looks but also is a douche. I have never laughed watching this show, not once.

What is your example of a great TV show then. Give us some perspective. The show was not 9 seasons of absolute brilliance but it was indeed an very good TV Show that stood up well among the contemporaries of the day.
