Does It Have a Satisfying Ending

I don't want to know how it ends, just if it has a satisfying ending or if it ended with a cliffhanger thinking that they were going to get another season? Or does it just end without wrapping anything up?

No cliffhanger, it ends well. But it was a good enough series that you will wish it didnt.

The ending was great. But like everyone else we wanted more. This show could have gone on and on, the stories were so good. Miss it, nothing like it on tv.

Good to know. I haven't seen the whole series yet and keep planning to watch it all but never do. I just might watch it all the way through now that I know it ends well.

As far as the actual storyline of Season 5 itself, it ends on a good note almost as if they knew they were going to get cancelled and didn't want to follow the traditional cliffhanger routine the previous seasons left off with. Nothing is thrown in to set up a potential Season 6 and the shadows and shines are explained by the finale. But there is still other storylines made throughout the other seasons that were never truly brought to a close that are in fact left hanging like Romano and the Laughing Man thing which was just abruptly dropped, the ghosts under Grandview in Season 3, and characters like Gabriel, Melinda's mother, and spirits like President Bedford who's left in limbo that we never saw a real closure of. There's a lot this show still had to do generally I wish we saw more of.

I hope they do a Netflix movie or something to wrap everything up (I doubt they ever will though). To this day I still want to know more about Romano, Gabriel, and the Laughing Man. Why did they drop all of these great storylines?

I would like to see the show return at some point too. It needs a comeback. But it seems like too much time passed to revisit any of those storylines at this point, but I think it can work. Aiden will at least be a preteen, almost thirteen now. It'll be good seeing potential teenager storylines for him. CBS was dumb to cancel this show among several others the same year. There had to have been some sort of financial thing going on. Quite a few of the shows they took off were their most popular ones like "Cold Case" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine".
