Why cancelled?

I've just discovered Killer Instinct after Criminal Minds on a Thursday on C5 in the UK

So far the episodes have been fantastic, not as stylishly done as say CSI or Criminal Mind, but I really enjoy the show. Last night's kidnapping and then waking up bomb strapped to you on a 15 minute countdown story was brill, if a tad predictable. Although I wonder if she really did shoot him in the balls.

It's a shame that good shows get cancelled, eg Killer Instinct, Alias.

Anyone have any idea why, was it reported over in the states?

Probably because of the lousy time slot. 21:00 Fridays? Most people are out at that time. Also, they aired a few episodes then put it on hiatus while the baseball playoffs were covered by Fox. So, I'm sure a lot of people forgot about it.

I've just started watching it on Channel 5 in the UK, last week was episode 7. I agree it's really good and they should have made another series.

I don't think it's that good, but it is a fun way to pass an hour, and agree with the guy that said pass the popcorn!

Just saw Chi McBride in a panel discussion about "Pushing Daisies" and, in a brief reference to some of the dogs he's been in, that was how he described "Killer Instinct." "Kill it. It stinks!"
