How Come Drew Never Got in Trouble?

From what I've seen so far, even when Drew has done something wrong, he has gotten away with it. On one recent episode, Drew jumped onto his dad's recliner and broke it. When the dad came home, sat down and found that it was broken, Tonya took the blame then proceeded to blackmail Drew in order to keep quiet. If Chris or Tonya do something even relatively minor, they have to face their mother's wrath.

Are there any episodes in which Drew had to face consequences for his actions? My interpretation of the show's premise is that he is supposed to be the "golden child" but sometimes it seems more like favoritism as the mother has a soft spot for him.

I saw an episode yesterday in which Drew was about to get spanked with a belt by his mother because he was playing with a ball in the house and accidentally broke a lamp. He's sort of crouched down waiting for it and just when his mother winds up for the first swat, her shoulder flares up giving him enough time to escape.

I remember that episode as well, it was called Everybody hates the Black Funeral Director.

He got in trouble when he told Tanya there was no Santa Claus and then he showed her where the presents were in the Christmas episode.

Didn't he get in trouble when he found 10 dollars on the stairs and it turned out to be the 10 that his mom had lost?

I loved this series. I thought Chris' mum was hilarious and to be honest if some kids were disciplined in that fashion today we'd have less trouble if more asses were wooped (is that how you spell it?) like Chris' mum did his and his siblings.

From the oldest child perspective, the oldest child gets the worst of the punishments because they are supposed to take care of the younger siblings. I'm the oldest of three with a younger sister and a younger brother. Whenever I do something wrong my parents don't hesitate to give me a lecture and punish me. But when my sister or brother do something wrong they get away with, sometimes without even a lecture. Since this show is from Chris' perspective, the younger siblings get away with everything while he has to face the consequences.
