Did Greg have some personal issues?

I wonder if in the last season of the show Greg seemed to have some sort of personality issues since he always seem to be more unsure of himself because of being known as Chris sidekick.

Well his parents are divorced & based on the way he talks about them, I don't think he's close with them. So that's probably the root of his issues.

Self esteem issues. He's just as unlucky ( maybe even worse) as Chris. But unlike Chris, Greg is an only child with parents who hardly pay attention to him. They both have their struggles.

Abandonment issues. Before Chris came along, he was the main target for bullies. He didn't seem to have many friends and he's just as unlucky (even more) as Chris.
