I do! Chris Rock is a traitor of his own race!
shareI somewhat agree with the OP.
I don't like this show, but some parts of it are quite good, like the father actor. That actor is way too good for this show, now that I think about it.
The wholesome Chris portrayed in this show is definitely far preferable to the loudmouthed & vulgar & racist Chris of real-life.
I can't stand the real-life Chris.
I read an article about him that said he stopped doing his racist rant wherein he calls his fellow blacks the N-word and says he wants to join the KKK and do drive-bys on them...[that rant can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3PJF0YE-x4]
...because "white people in the audience were laughing a little too hard."
So basically Chris Rock wrote and performed a racist rant that he expected his fans to laugh at, and after they actually did, he scapegoated his own racism onto white people. What a total scumbag!
I disagree. Chris Rock is one of my favorite comedians and actors. The kid in the show was funny too. I don't see an issue with either of them.

I have never been a fan of Chris Rock (real). I like the guy that plays him. I would enjoy the show a lot more if Chris Rock was not adding his two cents every two minutes. I wish there was a way to block his narratives out. Perhaps if the sound of his voice was less irritating I wouldn't mind the narratives.
