Did Chris Tucker plagurize "The Wonder Years"?

That's not to say that Chris Tucker is a hack, as Carlos Mencia already took that title. But it seems that Chris took a coming-of-age series format and made it his own. The only difference is that he didn't carbon copy it, as opposed to Carlos evidently with "Mind of Mencia" after Dave Chappelle abruptly faded into obscurity. Take Chris Tucker's family, for example, in comparison to the fictitious Arnold family (besides the blatantly obvious voiceover narration)...

1. Chris / Kevin Arnold - has one brother and one sister.
2. Julius / Jack Arnold - cheapskate dad.
3. Greg / Paul Pfeiffer - main character's nerdy best friend.
4. Caruso / Wayne Arnold - main character's bully.
5. Tasha / Winnie Cooper - main character's love interest who lives next door.

Of course, not all of those are accurate in similarities. Case in point...

1. Chris was the oldest. Kevin was the youngest.
4. Caruso was Chris's classmate. Wayne was Kevin's brother.
5. Tasha was Chris's girlfriend for one episode. Winnie was Kevin's [on & off] girlfriend throughout the entire series.

Therefore, I'm not underestimating Chris Tucker's creativity. Every so often, a premise for a joke, sitcom, rap verse and so forth, has originated from someone else. But I can't help but to wonder if his premise for "Everybody Hates Chris" originated from "The Wonder Years."

No, there are similarities, but it's far from a rip off.
