saw it, LOVED it, taped it, will watch it again and again, Heather Graham was tremendous, it was like a really great episode of Seinfeld but better...

It wasn't that bad, however I'm forced to agree that it wasn't very good either. It was watchable & I have to say I find Heather Graham very likeable but yeah I'd seen it all before .

I personally think it was better than the awful pilot of Stacked and infinitely better than the dire Hot Properties but then almost every show on TV is

Hopefully Scrubs will want her back.

In all seriousness, I can't help but think that the main reason so many people are hating on this show is because they see it as nothing more that a silly Sex and the City rip-off that can never compare. I saw the first episode and I thought it was funny and cute! Yeah, it practically is the same thing as Sex and the City, but I liked that show, so I guess I liked this one.

I think it stinks that it was canceled, I would have liked to see more than one episode... I don't know, I'm a christian so I guess I think it's cute because I liked Sex and the City, but this show doesn't have all the cussing and nudity that I personally don't really need to see. It was toned down, but I thought it was okay.

Well, I have the advantage in that I've never seen Sex and the City or any of these other shows being mentioned. Which probably gives me a pretty unbiased opinion.

This show was just plain terrible. I saw no redeeming value in a woman who meets a nice guy; proceeds to stereotype him as gay based off her gay friend's unfounded opinion and a few overexadderated observations with nothing inherently wrong with them; and break up with him over his answering machine without even having the nerve to approach him and ask him about her concerns.

So what if he has a spray-on tan? That doesn't make him a crossdresser, he just doesn't have time to go a beach or tanning salon, or maybe he doesn't want to.

So what if he doesn't feel the need to sleep with or kiss her right away? Why does that have to be a problem? There's nothing wrong with a abstaning from that if one feels it's a wise decision. And it contradicts with his moral values, which Emily would have found out if she'd had the gall to ask him.

So what if he practices a martial art that seems a little touchy-feely? It's just a contact sport (is it even a real martial art?).

As far as I'm concerned, it had no substance, no intelligence, no value. I'm glad to see it go.

Heather was good, didnt mind the asian secretary... didnt really care for the supporting cast though.

It wasn't a good show at all. But still it shouldn't have been cancelled after only one episode.

I guess in addition to being wary of all of the Sex In the City knockoffs (or variations thereof) such as Jake in Progress, Watching Ellie, the one where Alicia Silverstone's a matchmaker/lawyer, and that one with Jenna Elfman playing a lawyer (not to mention the whisper of 'Bridget Jones' Diary' influence), I think the audience is probably ready for something a little more realistic and smart.
I mean, seriously, I can't imagine that someone why someone would spend her full blown woman years (over 30) acting and dressing like a 13 year old girl. Furthermore, I'm tired of seing characters that come off as child-like or ditzy working at high-paying, high-powered jobs! Sure, you might run into an inept manager in a lower level customer service area of a really big company but, a loopy publisher??? That's like having a show starring Boomer, the bumbling neurosurgeon.
After the show aired, the only reaction that I kept hearing from other people was "We're supposed to believe that Heather Graham can't get/keep a boyfriend?!?!?"

That was only a pilot, the show got funnier. They shot five episodes. Too bad it wasn't given better treatment. Some of the actors in other episodes where great...Oh well thats just showbiz.

I honestly did not think the show was funny when I watched the first and only episode. I am not surprised that it was cancelled, although I am surprised that it was cancelled after just one episode. I thought more episodes would air before it would be cancelled.

This show wasn't cancelled because it was terrible, but because the ratings were terrible. The show had potential to be good once the characters were defined, but of course it didn't get the chance.

If you watch the first few episodes of nearly any good tv show and compare them to the later ones (once they have figured out what works with the characters, etc.) the shows aren't usually that good in the beginning -- or at least are not what they will become.
