I was so excited when I head that Fred Savage was coming back to tv - love him! And a tv show with Fred Savage, Jane Curtain and William Devane - how could it miss?
Answer - apparently all too easily.
This show sucked - the characters are flat and un-interesting (the chauvanistic older brother?? could he be more more of a stereotype?) and the writing is slow and un-engaging.
I hope ABC pulls it soon so they can all move on to projects more worthy of their talents.
That's your opinion and you entitled to that but there are alot of people who would disagree with you. I personally like the show alot, it's the only new comedy on TV that is actually funny.
Maybe the older brother is un-interesting but you honestly think that Jane Curtin's character is 'flat and un-interesting'?

Yeah, there was something that bothered me about the brother, not fred savage, the other one. but i though the rest of the cast was good, and i thought the show was funny as well.
I find this show really funny. Even my mom likes it and she doesn't like anythhing, she actually evily threw her head back and laughed...freaky

Yeah my husband is very picky about TV too and when i made him watch this, i really didn't think he'd like it as much as i do or find it as funny but he did and now he loves it.
