Missed a couple...

Mitch would have come out in the next few episodes somewhere along the line because the show is/was semiautobiographical of one of the people in charge. He would have come out at that premiere he was going to take his female friend to for a date. It was going to be a mistake though because an interviewer would out him and his parents would see it.

The "coming out" episode was the next one in line to be broadcast, "Tennis Any Crumb?" After being given two different airdates, ABC decided it wasn't worth airing. Of course, according to their website, they didn't seem to get the memo that they didn't air it.

And the show was semi-autobiographical, not completely autobiographical.
