Did Mitch tell his family that he is gay? ??

Well,in the episode I saw on Monday he told his mother that he was gay.After he and Shelly started to get along,his mother was really upset.So,he decided to share his secret with only her.That made her very happy and then they embraced.I don't know if anybody else finds out,so I'll keep watching and let you know.
