Close to home cancelled.

If they had not changed the first season format of close to home, it may have survived. It became top heavy, too predicatle and far fetched. Charging on little evidence and the investigators conveniently finding new evidence in all cases was ludicrous. It was entertaining all the same.

Even is she wears just stickers, her ratings wont be super hi bc many ppl go out on Fri noght and her show is watched by old ladies.

PLEASE TELL ME THEY ARE NOT CANCELLING GHOST WHISPERER!!!!! I love the intrigue of that show. The writing is smart and they know how to work the suspense! I can do without Jennifer showing so much cleavage in each episode, but since she was the executive producer, she can do whatever she wants, but I will miss the show if its definitely been cancelled.

Close to Home is another show that I'll miss. Even though they missed the mark on exactly which way they wanted to go with this show, I don't think the powers that be gave it a chance to work it out. I wondered why they killed off Kimberly Elise in the finale, but I should have known!

As for the rest of the shows and the Sunday Night Movie - no comment.

I guess its back to Will & Grace reruns!

i started watching this show at the beginning of the second season and i fell in love with it. after hearing it was cancelled, i felt like asking why? the show is intelligently written and has heartfelt moments. this show may not be one of the best shows on cbs; however, i really like it. i do not want to anger a lot of people, but i never saw jericho and i never thought that i would find it interesting, but the critics reviews as well as the viewers reviews were always very good! anyway, close to home is one show that i look forward to on friday nights. i like the cast, and i believe that they mesh real well if you know what i mean. the show that is taking the place of close to home is known as moonlight (or something along the lines of that). IT IS ABOUT A VAMPIRE WHO IS A DETECTIVE. i think that cbs has wasted its time marketing this show because it does not seem that creative or interesting. this show will last perhaps half a season, and hopefully they will bring back close to home.

HOW ANY SEASONS DO YOU THINK THAT SHOW WILL LAST? I THINK NOT EVEN ONE, WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?

ALSO, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF BRINGIN BACK A SHOW SUCH AS CLOSE TO HOME WHEN A SHOW AS BAD AS MOONLIGHT (I AM SO PESSIMISTIC) IS CANCELLED?

They're not cancelling Ghost whisperer. I love that show too. They confirmed that they will be coming back next year. Check out TV.com or http://www.cbs.com/primetime/fall_preview_2007/. I think the reason why they cancelled close to home was because they kept killin people off. I stopped watching after they killed the husband off...actually I tried two more episodes but it was not the same. Now I hear they killed Kimberly Elise's character off. That is a definate no see for me now because I don't see where they can go now. Now the show is like Law & Order.
