Does anybody actually believe that prematrimonial sex can send you to hell? Anymore? Come on church used that in medieval to control people because sex is one of the most influential parts of our life. I don't think that even The Pope has any disillusions about it nowadays. Church has to get over it. We have the 21st century and they can't curse anyone for anything.
Besides Christianity is full of cr*p. The Bile: just a compilation of different stories (mostly from Asia for example Saint Alex's legend - don't know how it is in English exactly), poems and moral guidelines. Written in a spree of about 3000 years. So it's kind of naive to believe that these words are God's. May I add Mikolaj Kopernik, Darwin and it appears that "God theory" falls apart. Slowly and inevitably. They just adapt it every once a revolution so it somehow stays with us.
PS. I'm Christian. To make matters even worse I'm also Polish.
PS.PS. Do yourself a favor girl and make out. You're young only once so don't waste it. God has never asked you of that. Do it before you get old and you will have to marry a 40 yr old bald freak.

Well, I don't really care if people want to wait until they get married or not (I didn't), but really. I lost my virginity to someone I *loved*, not just because I "went out" and "made out" with someone before I "got old", as you so wonderfully put it. But, like you said, you do what you believe in. I just feel that most people just want to lose it because they feel that they have to, nowadays.
Oh, and for the record, I was 23 when I lost my virginity. And it felt right. Whoever it was who said "most people have lost it at the age of 16 or below by now" was talking complete crap. *Most* of that is down to peer pressure. Take my advice, kids, lose it to someone you *love* and *care about*. It will make the experience a lot more meaningful.
Anyway, that's my two cents.
IF you can wait (until married) that's great! Makes sense for more reasons than just the bible telling us so IE. giving up something so special to that one person, and preventing children outta wedlock (does that sound dumb? lol :P) or children being born out of a unstable relationship (if condom breaks or whatever). Anywayz even if we do interpret the bible wrongly, who are you to say that we should throw out our morals just to get our jollys off and prevent us from settling with a 40 yr old bald freak?(which sounds like the typical husband btw lol). Once your virginitys gone its gone, then what are we gonna do IF someone tells us that "actually yes..looking back and fittingly interpreting the bible, the good book does say WAIT until marriage. Oops"
