Just watched all the episodes on HBO and it's raw like an infected cold sore and twice as painful. The sitcom format did it zero favors. The whooping and cheering audience, much like the fans praising this show as comedy gold, are probably a great source of disdain for Louis in real life. Louie, on the other hand, is a pretty great show. It's pretty amazing to see what a success that show is compared to the rough, woefully unsuccessful first attempt.

sharedon't worry OP I agree with you. and if I didn't I wouldn't tell you to kill yourself. Seems like a bit of an overreaction. But yes this show sucked. HBO was right to cancel it. (Though why Girls is still on, God only knows) What the writers didn't get is just cursing a lot and making a lot of disgusting comments isn't the same as making a joke.

This was one of the best raw sitcoms ever. I guess most of the world just isn't ready for it yet, but your kids are gonna love it.
