Thoroughly confused about Lydia
The credits on this sight say that Sera Bastian played Lydia in both movies but isn't it a different actress than the first one? does anyone know who played Lydia in the first movie?

It was Tiffany Dupont I thought she played lydia very well in corresponding with the character we got to know thru reading the books. I was really dissapointed to see Lydia replaced by another actress . But I guess It's just a matter of opinion or preference because Ive talked to a few people who like the 2nd Lydia better. Does anyone know what the logistics were behind another actress playing the part of Lydia.
shareI thought Tiffany Dupont was a much better "Lydia" and I was pretty disappointed at the change. It seemed like she went from being an actual character in the movie to being a mannequin who looked frustrated or angry (but they were really just the same face.) I hope it's better with the next one!
shareI totally agree. The second Lydia didn't really do much in the movie, and didn't do anything for me at all.

Maybe Tiffany didn't care to do it because the part in the second movie was so small.

Maybe...I liked the 1st one better than the 2nd too. But the 2nd one did a good job, I think.

Tiffany Dupont most likely wasn't in the 2nd movie because she was doing the bedford diaries. the queen esther thing came after.

Are we not on the Internet Movie Database that you can't go look this up? The actress that plays Lydia in the first one is Tiffany Dupont.
