Pride cometh before a fall.
The last one cost 10 million and made 2. This one is supposed to have been even more expesive, I wonder if it will make even less. Anyone want to bet?

shareYeah, I think the films are kind of universally considered commercial failures unless they plan to make that money back in DVD sales, and, well, that'd sure be optimistic.
shareActually, they filmed both of the movies together so the third one wasn't more expensive to film. That ten million, or however much it cost, also paid for the third film. I realize that still isn't great, but at least he didn't shell out ten million for each movie. As for me, I wish more people would go see the films, so they could make enough money to continue making more. They are so good! Now, anyone who wants to can go ahead and dish out any rude comments you'd like, but I repeat, I love the movies!
shareActually, the last one was 7.5 million from what I heard.

I had heard that the last 2 cost ~17M total; that they saved money by shooting them together, etc.

I'll take the bet that it'll earn even less than the first one.

If the bet involves money, then no. Gambling (now renamed Gaming to make it sound more attractive) is against my beliefs.

Now children....let's remember who we are.
shareAgain, I think the 2nd and 3rd were filmed together and maybe total budget was 7 million not each.
