I'm surprised that Sean Avery was given a role in this, given the fact that there are way better hockey players than him to choose from. However, what is more surprising is that he actually agreed to appear in a movie full of "French guys." (NHL fans will know what I'm talking about).

Guys, Sean Avery doesn't hate French Canadians. He's a dick, yes, but he says these things to stir things and make people hate him. Cause, that's what he wants. That's his role on a team, to make people hate him and take penalties against him.

The comment he made about French Canadian Hockey players was said after the movie was done other wise they wouldn't have offered him a role in the movie.
And he obviously doesn't hate French Canadian's because hes dating one he made a comment on how they try to act tough and wear visors... hes making fun of them.. when people make fun of fat people do they hate them? Probably not they just want to seem better then them. And I wouldn't necessarly call him a bad hockey player he got 39 points last season and is the target of the opposing team, which is good because then they won't go after the star players. Anyways thats my 2 cents.
Ooooo...39 points, what a marquee player... He's not the worst player, but he's not that great either. He's better than freaking Donald Brashear, that's for sure, but still not that great.
