Where is Camden supposed to be located?

Well, Camden is a real city in UK but who knows where exactly is "Camden" in America.

Not too far from Natesville.

It's not supposed to be anywhere. It's like Springfield in "The Simpsons". It's intentionally vague. That said, they're within driving distance from Vegas and there's palm trees at the Motel so California would be a safe guess.

I know there isn't a concrete answer, but I always thought it felt like Ohio for some reason. Until they never seemed to have cold weather. Then I changed my guess to somewhere in Florida, near the panhandle.

Just fun to speculate.

Didn't they say they were in central time zone? Somewhere there, but warm, so the southernmost part of that time zone?

There is a city named Camden and also a Camden county in North Carolina (take a wild guess as to where the city is). When I learned that Jaime Pressly was born in Kinston, NC, I thought that was where they got the county name from but I was wrong, Kinston is in Lenoir county.

FWIW, I know MNIE never says where they're located but I lived in Pembroke, NC for several years and I do believe they could have cast nearly the entire show from the people living there .

Earls car clearly has California plates, so I'd say it's California. There's a lot of hick towns here too.

In the episode joy and earls anniversary (with the killer bees) a man says all is safe because the bees are heading to Texas. My guess would be Oklahoma based on that.
