tough critic by someone who doesn't understand film, is biased against portuguese films and didn't understand the film at all, it's good yahoo reviewed a small portuguese film, but the critc is slightly dumb, if it's painfull to watch and graphic it's due to its content; sexual slavery; it's very well shot and if it's slowly paced is because it's what life is, boring, the pain dragging us with it, slowly, this women start in prostitution by chance (or not..) but they never can go back, so the character never could really let herself go, i was very attentive and did not spot vincent gallo at all, what i did saw was Tim (the lead singer of notorious portuguese-speaking rock band Xutos e Pontapés) and he was really good...also stevenin was great reminding me of deux and lili...
