Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Francisco is being extremely selfish? I am so mad that he went to his wife. When Valeria's lofe, Pablo came back into her life, he didn't step aside. He was upset. So now Valeria has to be the admirable one and step aside? Screw that- we'd be fighting. He's such a jerk.
shareI agree to some extent, though it's hard for me to get mad because I know they are just doing it to add friction and extend the novela. Realistically, I don't believe he would have done that. This new thing that is going on between Valeria and that doctor really bothers me. IMHO, we went from having a strong heroin in a very equal relationship to having a heroin whose being shown her place by a "real man." Yuck. At least, that's where it looks like it's headed to me. I expect she'll have somewhat of a romance with him even if she does end up with Francisco.
On a side note, I thought it was hilarious when, after he forced a kiss on her, she said she was going to wash her mouth out with disinfectant soap and throw up for the rest of the night.

I read in the Spanish magazine Mira that they believe the relationship between Valeria and Francisco is too boring and they wanted to keep a love triangle going now that Pablo is out of the picture. I saw an article on the internet taken from Mira's September issue that says Saul (Francisco) is jealous of the great success of Dr. Neanderthal and might quit the novela. First of all, I don't believe our dear doctor is that popular. I know a lot of people find him attractive, but I think most people still appreciate Saul as the protagonista. I think they just said that in the article because Saul signed on to do a movie in Mexico and they're not sure how he'll do that if he's tied to the novela for another few months.
I just hope they don't actually have Valeria fall for this guy the way he is disrespecting her.

Thanks Elizdv - I love it when you post the little tidbits since I can't read the Spanish articles. I sure missed the boat in high school when I started German as a language. lol I left the class after about a week because I couldn't stand it. It was such a harsh language. Stupid me, I didn't switch to Spanish. I even lived in the Dominican Republic for a while and didn't take advantage of that either. I was always around someone who translated for me. Now I truly regret it. I simply must get myself on the ball and start a Spanish class. These novellas have just captured me. (And I must say that I was never a soap opera fan before either.) I love the Spanish acting so much. It is so animated and use facial expression etc., that it just fascinates me how they emote so much more with that type of acting. I actually can follow the gist of it when my cc goes out once in a while. lol

It says he's going to Los Angeles soon to work on a movie called Movidas.
In the message board section it has a post that is supposedly by him where he basically says he is going to film the movie but will be back to the novela. Must be a small part. He mentions the article that said he was leaving the novela and said it is not true.
