I'm watching it on Sci Fi Channel (I REFUSE to spell it that new way!), and I realize that I didn't laugh this much at the last three comedies I watched. The shark babies! WOW! People complain about SFC movies, but THESE are like the "grindhouse" movies of drive-in days! (I grew up in the Fifties and Sixties.) THESE are the cult movies film buffs will be trying to track down! "Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy" is the future's "Shock Wave" or "Eaten Alive"!

Quentin Tarantino is spending a ton of money trying to recapture the weird magic of B- to Z-movies. Well, we get them lots cheaper on SFC, don't we? He's striking out with his "grindhouse" attempts, whereas "Frankenfish", "Mansquito" and these other much-maligned films are the real stuff!

Someday, people will be begging for a copy of "Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy" and debating the merits of this film vs. "Creature" (remember that one, based on Peter "Jaws" Benchley's novel?). Why, you can hold your own "Clash of the Land Sharks" mini-marathon!

All I can say is that I just finished "Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep", but this one is much more entertaining. Hmmm... Anyone want to estimate the quantity of silicone that makes up Hunter Tylo?

Oh yeah, these early SyFy classics are so much better than that "Malibu Beach Shark Attack" crap. FrankenFish, Mansquito & this are classics among the long-time viewers of Saturday night SyFy fans...
