i don't think this taste will ever go away (SPOILERS!!!!!!)

i really loved this film, right up until the rape/murder scene at the end, i know that those scenes were supposed to make me feel like this, but they didn't seem to have a point, it was like porn for sicko's. if the scene had happened sometime in the middle of the film and we were to see an outcome of somekind then it wouldn't have been so bad, but i just can't believe that this incredible film was all leading up to this overly graphic and disturbing climax. the way it ends with them walking away laughing leaves me hoping for a sequal where they get tortured to death (wishfull thinking). don't get me wrong, i thought the direction was first class, the acting too, i just feel like i'll never get those images out of my head.

Then stop watching sick movies made by perverts. They only pollute your mind and have no purpose. Porn for sickos indeed.

How do you know that they walk away with it ? "Walking" doesn't necessarily mean "walking away with". I hope you have grown up enough since 5 years in order to understand that a movie is not a complete account of events and are open to interpretation and choices of its creators. Furthermore, it would be extremely naive to think that they could get away with it. And lastly but not leastly, you want them to be tortured to death ? well, let me rephrase; do you want these characters who tortured others to death to be tortured to death? well, let me rephrase again; do you want these characters who tortured others to death (because in their sick minds they've thought that they deserved it somehow) to be tortured to death (because in your mind, you think that they deserve it) ?

emirgo04, that is the most bizarre and pointlessly aggressive reply I've ever read. All the OP was saying is that she was shocked and upset by the brutality and lack of remorse shown by these kids at the end. Which I believe is the appropriate response, try to not be so defensive and condescending on discussion boards.

sorry, I didn't know that one shouldn't propose his/her ideas in these boards in order to engage in a "discussion". I must have thought that this was a "discussion board". Oh, wait, it is...
