Very impressed with

the make up in this film.
The ageing ladies look authentically old but of course that coupled with excellent acting made for very convincing portrayals of the two Mrs Gandhis.
I really think this film should have got much more publicity; it is a careful and generally non biased tale of the fraught relationship between this iconic figure and his loyal son.

And because of this, the relationship cannot succeed as each has his own individual agenda , which comes with civility and evolution.
Gandhi, I feel, like most 'great men' was hopeless at dealing with intimacy.
He also could justify himself at the expense of empathy...I wonder if this makes him a narcissist?
