My god, David Haig was utterly loathsome!


LOL. Obsessive Repulsive Disorder. Good actor though and he makes me want to watch The Thin Blue Line again.

He saved "The Thin Blue Line" for me. I've always admired him. Was his father Peter Haig the presenter.

I thought his character was fantastically horrid. I remember him from 'My Boy Jack' playing Rudyard Kipling... with the same moustache.

I love the rest of the characters' faces when he gives that speech about "Right now, you're all emerging from the cellar. Pleased that the beatings have stopped, scared of what the future might hold...".

And his sharp changes from calm, nice guy to unpredictable madman "Would you PLEASE, F**CKING WELL... Oh, lost my temper. Where is it, where is it!? Oh I've found it, it's alright!" (Always in the last place you look, eh?)

I really hope he makes a return in series 4. "Chooo *beep* CHOOO!"
