This is the funniest show I have ever seen

American who discovered this through Veep.

The Thick of It is ten times darker and nastier, and I constantly find myself in a combination of hysterical laughter and respectful awe, in a way I haven't since I watched Monty Python as a kid. The writing is completely brilliant.

Any recommendations for similar programs, hopefully by the same team of writers?

Have you seen In the loop? It has Malcolm Tucker but the other characters are in similar but different roles and different names.

I didn't like it as much as the Thick of it but I still enjoyed it.
