Emma continuity fix

I rewatched this after watching FC with a friend (dude is a way bigger X-Men fan than me) and explained to me that his way of justifying the two Emmas was just saying the one from the 60s was the main Emma and the other was merely a younger clone (step ford cuckoo) that where is adopted and a sister Kayla.

original Emma was killed and studied by Trask industries. they cloned her to keep studying her, which is why she's a teenage girl in wolvie origins

I think it's best just to pretend this movie never happened!
The last few times I had an X-men movie marathon, I didn't even bother watching this.

I really like those explanations! I always thought this was one of the few continuity errors that couldn't be fixed. (Well that, and the fact that Erik and Charles weren't 17 when they met). But I never even thought of her being a clone or a Cuckoo. Now young Cyclops in this movie however... Not sure how you'd fix that.

As far as continuity goes, it would be easier just to keep this movie out of the loop, but I myself at least like seeing him get his claws. Now "The Wolverine" however, I don't think I'll ever watch again. Not even during an X-men marathon.

I can take that!
Why? Because they do this cheap weird S H I T in comics all the time:D
They kill character and then they bring him/her back through time travel or cloning :D :D :D

Well i looked in to this and i would choose to ignore the Stepford Cuckoos, that does also not add up, because that incident also involves an adult Jean Grey, who restores a dead Emma Frost by manipulating the
"Cosmic Phoenix Force".

Why to ignore regarding the movies: X-Men: Apocalypse.
Movie takes place roughly 10 years after X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Jean Grey is introduced as a young adult of 18-20 years of age, who never has released the Phoenix and is for the first time released full force in this movie.
