WHY is Blake Lively credited on the front of this DVD cover?

So my mother, who bless her heart knows nothing about movies other than she loves horror bought this craptastic film over the weekend and I saw that Blake Lively (otherwise known as that chick from 'Gossip Girl') was 'starring' in it which I must admit caught me by surprise as I had never seen or heard of this until now. Anywho, I saw it with her because she wanted me to and behold, Blake lively is in the last 5 minutes and that's ALL. Why is she credited on the front? Shouldn't the main girl be there instead?

I suppose its all for publicity so that the little fans of 'Gossip Girl' will be amazed and purchase it.

If you're thinking about getting this for that reason: THINK AGAIN.

Blake Lively is credited on the DVD cover because the studio hopes that fans of "Gossip Girl" will pick it up based on her name. It's probably their only hope for selling this piece of crap movie.

also probably because her dad was the producer! if you look at the credits at the beginning and end of the movie their is like 3 or 4 different livelys in the film too!

While I'm a fan of terrible slasher movies, the main reason I picked this up at Family Video was due to Blake Lively...I guess they got me there hahahaha.

RIP Melrose Place and Mercy...you will be missed.

ill still buy it because ive seen the movie alot of times on chiller. its cheesy and field with cliches. bad horror is great

welcome to stupid hollywood. i hate this trend so much. because an actor is a star they will put their name on the front of a movie box even if they are only have 5 minutes screen time. this should be illegal. it's untruthful.
