Ciara did not do well in this movie. I like her singing, and she may be able to act if she had some training. But in this movie it just sounded like she was reading the lines straight out of the script. There was nothing behind them. She did okay, I'm not dogging her or anything, but there was just...nothing.
shareI agree. She said she didn't take any kind of lesson...well it shows. At times when she was supposed to be mad, she would smile a little. She definitely needs more training.

yes.. i noticed that also.. especially when the coach was talking to her about what she wanted..that bugged me the most... i think she could use a few lessons.. it would help emensly
shareYeah, this is what happens when MTV gets a say in production, they try to get a singer to be in the movie (even though MTV is basically the reality tv channel). She should definitely stick to her music career, very few people can cross over from music to movies, and she's no Marky Mark.
