Who do you think was the better actress in this movie: Ciara or Adrienne Bailon?
shareI thought all of the girls did a wonderful job in the movie!! I read somewhere that Ciara never had acting lessons, So i'd say she did pretty good for never being in a movie or having acting classes!! Adrienne was da bomb too!!! Jennifer Pena is my all time favorite though!! :-)

Adrienne. She especially impressed me during the end when she got kicked off the team. And I agree, Ciara's lines seem forced and I couldn't feel her character. I kept thinking of her as Ciara.

Adrienne, hands down. She did an excellent job stepping into her character and I didn't see her as Adrienne at all..I saw her as Gabby. Ciara on the other hand should take a few acting lessons. I too kept thinking of her as Ciara. She didn't step into character at all and all her lines did seem forced. I hate watching a movie and the actor delivers their lines in that way. I thought Ciara would give it her best for her first role in a movie and actually step into character. I was definitely disappointed with her performance.

In my opinion, Adrienne did an amazing job as Gabby. She cracked me up and made me cry. Ciara did ok for her first acting job, and from here, she can only work on improving it. :) My personal fave is Jennifer Peña, who also made her acting debut with the role of Lettie. I've had the pleasure of meeting her and she's such a sweetheart! And isn't her song "Where Will I Be?" in the end credits awesome?!

shareI think Adrienne always overacts so much that it makes me roll my eyes pretty much everytime she speaks or gives attitude to someone. Or maybe she's just really that over the top obnoxious in your face all the time. Who knows? Plus every time I see her onscreen all I can picture is her music videos where she tries way too hard to be sexy way too young.
Sorry but I think a more subtle performance and a less cartoonish character is preferable. I liked Ciara's acting, but I think the development of the story was somewhat off. They didn't bother to actually put much effort into the flow of the plot and the therefore a lot of her characters behaviour seemed like it came out of nowhere, which as a result made her look bad as an actress.

i kno this iz old, but i have to say i just liked Ciara b/c she was the only African American female in this movie playing a "star" role which is really sad. It would get kind of boring just seeing Adrienne Bailon and the other girls. I think Ciara should've did the Bring It On sequel instead of Solange since she was a cheerleader. And I Think That Adrienne should stick to Raven, Keily, and Sabrina. Maybe if it were another sport, or MAIN topic, it would be a better movie.

Unfortunatley they didn't add any other African Americans but her being the only one doesn't make up for her lack of talent. Adrienne was CLEARLY better and ignoring the truth because there are other hispanics in the movie is pathetic & just plain stupid.
