shareApparently there's still room for hope. 'The Expendables' as of today has a rating of 7.0 and keeps falling. Still a lot higher than what that steaming pile of donkey crap deserves, though.
'Die Päpstin' aka 'Pope Joan' (as we speak) has a rating of 6.5. IMO this movie is a bit better than that, but in all honesty it's not a perfect movie by any stretch of the imagination. However at least boasts several good performances and a quite interesting storyline that regardless of being mostly fiction, it's quite compelling by it's own right.
I would prefer to watch a movie like 'Pope Joan' rather than 'The Expendables', any given day of the week
...really loved the book...couldn't put it down over the summer, it was recommended to me by a poster from another board (thank you Mathias)...am looking for the DVD...really...really wants to see it...is is out on DVD yet in America???
Think I agree with you Clionauta...am searching for this movie Pope Joan, yes...The Expendables??? nah...
I found The Expendibles more enjoyable, but it, too, was a let down.
