Were you watching the same film as me, I thought it was a load of rubbish.
I rented it last week and was really excited about watching it, as i am a massive footy fan and Danny Dyer is one of my fav actors, and i also love Portugal as i always go there for my holidays, i thought it would be Great.
I was very, very amazed at how bad it was, i was more or less certain in my mind it would be great.
I'd give it 3/10, no offence to Danny Dyer, he is still great, everyone is entitle to one bad film.
I completely agree, i love danny dyer, and i think he is one of the best actors but he couldnt save this film from being so boring, it has no storyline and the female actress is rubbish, i couldnt get over how bad her accent was, and what was the point of the 2 commentators, this just made it even worse. I would have much rather preffered seeing a documentary of danny's time in portugal, at least that would have been funny.

Me and my Wife enjoyed the Movie, it wasn't Great but definitly Worth a 7 of 10 Stars at least. The Movie it's not Hilarious but is actually Funny and has a Romantic, Sensible part + it finally shows the World that Portugal it's a Wonderfull Place to visit and it's not only made of Fishers and Poor People like many think.
Come on this film was really quite poor and I wasn't expecting Football Factory either. There were some unbelievably stupid situations that just wouldn't happen - if this movie were supposed to be based around a comic book character they might have gotten away with it, but as it stands it just didn't work.
I think they either should have made a more serious movie about an England fan's dilemma in Portugal 2004 or not based it around a real tournament.
The story was cr@p and predicable, someone mentioned that they had to stop the DVD, I didn't do that but I had to fast forward to the end!

this film was soooo sooooo bad - I had high hopes for it, being a football fan and hearing what the story line was but it was soooo shocking all the acting was awful (tho the scene when he comes back from the last ticketed game he just watched was pretty good) even dyer couldnt pull this off - With the storyline they could have really made a gem of a football film here clearly not to be

It is utter sh ite!!! And i can't remember the last time i said that about a film! Seen a lot of Danny Dyer's other films and love them to bits, this one though is reaaalllly bad.
