Since i read the book i was looking forward for the film..What a dissapointment...They took a fantastic book and transformed it in a catchy love story...

Films and the source novel always tends to be different.

Not like this. The only thing still remaining from the book is meeting on the rooftop and their appearing on a talk show. Literally everything else was different.
This film was not at all like the novel.

I agree. Miscasted characters too.
I wish we had gotten the version Johnny Depp was going to produce. Deposit hire D.V. Devintte (I'm pretty sure I misspelled his last name but oh well) who co-wrote the screenplay for High Fidelity to do this adaptation.
