Petition for a Film Festival For Maine!

As a King fan from birth, one who lives in Maine, the state that Stephen is originally from and still resides a lot of the year, I feel very betrayed by this string of really cool looking short films that we are denied the ability to watch.
By not allowing these films to be shown online, or even releasing them on DVD, its discrimination against people who can't go to film festivals. The people who end up at independent film festivals are usually there because they have a lot of wiggle room at their high-paying job, or have enough $ that they don't have to worry about a job & spend their time travelling & doing frivolous things. I work, and hard, in this state that King is from, and I spend my hard earned money on his works. And as such, I feel like it is only fair to the Maine fans (of whom he has MANY, most of his hardcore fans are Maine residents) who are mostly all working-class folks with not a lot of money or time to spare, to have a Stephen King Short Film Festival. Ya know, for those of us blue collar enough that we can't take a long weekend to California or Colorado, can't afford it in the first place. There is definitely a market at least as a one-time showing, for this to go on. I think its time for King to be true to his redneck Maine roots and help a sistah out, ayuh.
