I'd like to see how many posters who say that the real selfish character was the woman would react in reality in such a situation. How many would say calmly "Okay I understand I may be contamined so I won't get inside not to risk your life, I will just die on my own" or would they try to get in by all means ? I already know the answer.

yes, i agree, msot people are irraational, stupid, or both, and that together with crysis situation will lead to stupid decisions. This is the reason there are crysis reaction units to begin with, the people themselves cannot be let with the decisions because they make the wrong ones.
