Racist Movie

Another racist movie that depict blacks bad.

The black kid abandoned by their fathers in the street with no one caring for him must be saved by the whites.
None of their fathers came for him, they left him alone?

Jeez, dude, you more than likely would've whined had the abandoned kid been white.

Then there wouldn't have been anyone of color in the picture.

And that would've been racist, too, right ?

Are you a "community organizer" ? If so, why are you wasting time on IMDB ?

Don't you have Wal-Mart to protest and shake down ?

Oh wait -- you're gonna shake down Lions Gate over this feature film. Gotcha.

Good luck with that...

Tommy wasn't abandoned, he was too scared to go home.

Given that every actor in a movie must have *some* race, what would you do? Would you just select the actors that did the best, or maybe let the screenwriters write the movie that works the best?

It seems like the logical conclusion of your complaint is that we either can't have *any* negative images in movies, or that all negatives must be attached to old bald white men. Of course if we did that, then only those old bald white men would have the opportunity to become heroes, so you'd complain about that too.

i'm black and i have no doubt there are many subtle racist movies out there.
but this is not one of them. the kid said he was scared to go home, he was at school and his parents were downtown, his parents most likely died or were looking all over for him.

he wasn't abandoned...maybe you should have watched the movie more attentively.

Not even close. Next time, don't watch a movie while surfing the internet at the same time.

If we all liked the same movie, there'd only be one movie!
