SO MUCH STUPIDITY!

Look, I get that this scenario would be a stressful, but a fundamental rule of storytelling is that our hero should make the right moves otherwise we lose faith and ultimately turn against them. So here's a starter for ten-

Idea 1-

THROW A ROLL OF TAPE AND CAR KEYS OUT THE WINDOW. LET YOUR WIFE SEAL HERSELF UP IN THE SUV!!

Is that such a tough ask? Might not help, but at least she'd be quarantined.

Idea 2-

GOT A GARAGE!? See idea one.

Idea 3-

DO WHAT YOU ENDED UP DOING A LOT DAMN SOONER. MOVE BACK ONE ROOM, TAPE PLASTIC OVER DOOR LEAVE TAPE AND PLASTIC BEHIND SO WIFE CAN CREATE HER OWN QUARANTINE ROOM!

The movie totally lost me the moment he couldn't figure out a way to quarantine her to keep her safe from any further exposure. And unfortunately that's the central premise.

Dumb movie that started well.

Meh, I think it is a story about humanity. And ultimately, some of us aren't smart enough, soon enough, or even ever and him being a musician out of work might be a comment on his intelligence, especially because this movie was filmed before the economy went to spit.
