Jason Bateman is the most redeemable part of this movie.

I pretty much thought he was fantastic.

Absolutely agree. I've been a fan of his for years and am still amazed because his sense of comedic timing and delivery are PERFECTION. Even some of his smaller roles have consistently boosted some pretty bad movies (Dodgeball, The Break-Up for example).

Plus he showed his versatility and really was terrific in a non-comedic role in Juno. His recent success is long overdue and it's about time Hollywood came knocking at his door.

let's not get crazy here but I did think he played his character well. Jason was the only actor that played his character true to life and made you want to knock him on the ground. He did his job.

As for Zach Braff, I don't know what he was doing. Amy Poeler if I am spelling her name correctly, wasted her time in this film. She is too talented to show up in something like this. From someone coming form SNL, she deserves a lot better and probably needs to be more discerning when it comes to reading scripts.

As for Grodin, he got stuck in a bomb. He's another comedian type with great timing that really didn't have the opportunity to show what he has. Shame because I have always loved his work.

Agreed, he's the best part of the film.

JB's Chip was fantastic, he nailed every scene. So it's him and Mushiwaki's .
