actually this made me think of a guy i was in a class with named chip wood. not a nickname. when his name was read aloud by the teacher they would say wood chip! as it was listed as wood, chip. not clear if it was mom & pop wood naming him chip that was the reason he always had a chip on his shoulder. one surly dude.
Season's Greetings!
he isnt handicapped for real untill he gets hit by the bus.
shareeven then, all that happened was that he broke his legs. his legs were in casts so that means most likely he'll be able to walk again.
"Don't milk the cat!"
You get hit by a bus like that you aren't going to wonder about being paralyzed, you'd be dead. That bus was really moving. Much too fast for a normal bus!
shareit was a really fast bus but this is also a movie hehehe.
"Don't milk the cat!"
Depends, in the first version I watched (theatrical) he faked being handicapped all along, and in the end they showed Wesley doing a commercial spot and Chip ended up in Spain crawling into Idea and being thrown out, but in the DVD version he was handicapped all along I guess and they never showed any of that extra stuff.
sharedunno what dvd version you saw but the one I saw had him standing up before walking out in front of a bus

Even if you hate Uwe Boll, give Postal a try, be offended or entertained.
wow...such totally different versions depending on where you live and which version you bought I guess. I actually saw the ending with Chip leaving for Spain after telling wesley that he doesn't really care about him anyways and asking Sarah if she wants to go with him. She says no and she and Tom get back together, moving back to NYC where he is a stay at home dad and she is working at her old law office.
As Tom is getting the baby to go out, his friend is watching TV and sees Chip clumsily maneuvering around the bulls in Spain.
The only reference to him not being really handicapped was in the deleted scenes.
who needs action when you got words?
I can't believe that there are all these different versions of the film out there.
I watched last weekend, rented DVD. The final scene he gets teh call from !dea and takes the job with one ticket. He then wheels over to the door and asks in a snarky tone "For a little help...I'm in a wheelchair here!"
Then during the credits you see a news report about teh running of the bulls in Spain only to see Chip caught in teh street in his chair and getting gored by a bull.
I really didn't think much of the film, so I didn't watch and deleted or alternate scenes, I just took it out of the dvd player.
You should watch the version on Comedy Central if you can, they show the unedited version that I saw and it seems to make much more sense and be funnier than the one people have watched here.
It's so weird, unrated DVDs usually mean more footage, not edited to crap.
Odd.
And Chip isn't handicapped. He gets out of the wheelchair in a restaurant and in a fight scene.
